About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to lead the clinical operations of a respected residential aged care home in the Hervey Bay region. This full-time leadership position is ideal for a Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical expertise, team management skills, and a passion for high-quality, person-centred care.Reporting to the Residential Services Manager, the Care Manager plays a critical role in ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and a positive resident experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the clinical and care team

• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards

• Oversee care planning, assessments, and clinical governance

• Conduct audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and allied health professionals

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Care Manager or Clinical Lead role in aged care

• Sound knowledge of aged care legislation, standards, and accreditation

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• A genuine commitment to resident-focused care and team development
